Positon Summary
Under the direction of the Community and Family Services Division Director and the Program Coordinator, the Advocate Services Coordinator will assist the community and family services team with implementation of the Chugach Women’s Violence Intervention Project. Duties include providing domestic violence education and prevention, to adults and youth, as well public awareness at community and health events of domestic violence.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or G.E.D. required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or three years experience working with domestic violence services to Native Communities
- Familiarity with Alaska Native or Native American culture and customs
Work Conditions

Incumbent must be willing and able to travel in light aircraft.
