Wildland Firefighters

Squad Boss
Under direct supervision, serves as a crew leader for a Type 2 IA wildland fire crew, providing lead direction for his/her squad. Responsible for applying knowledge of fire suppression tactics which includes but are not limited to: mop up, cold trail, gridding, constructing hose lays, operating water pumps, and patrolling fire perimeter.
Crewmember Firefighters
5 positions are available for the 2012 fire season. Crewmembers are involved with a wide variety of Wildland fire suppression and prescribed fire duties. Candidate must meet ICS minimum red card qualifications for Firefighters. There are two entry level positions (crewmembers with no experience). Training will be provided.
