Every organization has relationships that are not lean. Toyota has a culture of working with its suppliers and partners, teaching them their system. Chugachmiut does the same.

Chugachmiut has worked with the Alaska Native Medical Center and the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium to encourage each organization to apply Lean Healthcare and Lean Administration to all of their operations. The Alaska Tribal Health System has a description of the Current State Map and a Future State Map on its website.
