The Alutiiq people of the Chugach Region have always placed a high value on family and tradition. This division seeks to sustain and enhance community and family life, prepare youth for the future, and care for the Elders who have provided so much. We do this while maintaining aspects of a way of life that have survived for 7,000 years.
