Regional Grants
This department is responsible for
obtaining grant funds that benefit the region as a whole as laid out in Chugachmiut’s strategic plans. Additionally, they assist division
directors and program managers in assessing potential funding sources,
their benefits and restrictions, and work with the management team to develop program
strategies, proposals and changes.
Tribal Grants
Staff is responsible for
researching and writing grant proposals with an emphasis on funding for
each of the seven Native communities in the region. Staff works with
Tribal and Chugachmiut grant writers and, in addition to researching and
writing, is responsible for monitoring grant and contract compliance,
coordinating the schedule of performance reports, tracking all budget
issues, and working directly with communities to assess needs and areas
of focus.
