RFP for Snow Plowing and Ice Management Services - August 11, 2025
The Chugachmiut Regional Health Center (CRHC) in Seward, Alaska, is seeking qualified contractors to provide snow plowing and ice management services for the 2025–2026 winter season. The selected contractor will be responsible for timely and effective snow removal, sanding, de-icing, and maintaining safe, accessible conditions across all designated facility areas, including parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, emergency exits, and critical infrastructure access points. Services include both scheduled and emergency/on-call work, with performance standards requiring snow clearance within two hours or before 8:00 a.m. after snowfall ends. Contractors must supply all necessary equipment, materials, and labor, and provide prompt communication, service logs, and reports of any property damage.
The contract will run from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026, with payment terms to be agreed upon (per event, seasonal, or hourly rates). Bidders must submit a completed bid form, proof of insurance, a list of equipment, a detailed cost breakdown, and three references via email to CRHC’s Facility Manager. Proposals will be evaluated based on experience, pricing, equipment availability, compliance with the scope of work, and client satisfaction history. CRHC reserves the right to terminate the contract without notice for non-performance.
