RFQs: Sugt’stun Language Learning Projects - October 15, 2025

Chugachmiut’s Tribal Education Department is seeking qualified partners to support a series of Sugt’stun language initiatives that combine technology, curriculum design, and community training. These RFQs invite proposals from experienced contractors to help bring the Sugt’stun language online through a sustainable, culturally rooted learning platform and dictionary.

RFQ 1 – Online Learning Management System (LMS) and Support for Sugt’stun Courses

Chugachmiut is requesting quotes for an LMS partner to co-develop and launch two introductory Sugt’stun language courses (16 units/64 lessons). The selected contractor will provide technical setup, training workshops, and platform support to ensure the system is accessible, engaging, and grounded in Indigenous learning practices.

RFQ 2 – Online Lexicographical Platform (LP) and Support for the Talking Sugt’stun Dictionary

Chugachmiut invites quotes for a digital Lexicographical Platform to host and expand the Sugt’stun dictionary, featuring 4,500 word entries, audio clips, and usage examples. The selected partner will provide software development, training, and integration support to create a living, community-driven language resource.

RFQ 3 – Standards-Aligned Curriculum Design and Implementation Support for Sugt’stun Language Initiatives Online

Chugachmiut seeks a curriculum design specialist to develop standards-aligned, culturally responsive frameworks for Sugt’stun courses. The role includes aligning language materials with educational standards, facilitating workshops for content developers, and producing implementation plans that integrate with the LMS platform.
