The Higher Education Scholarships program assists eligible participants with funding to attend educational institutions. Scholarship awards are based on the number of eligible applicants who applied; applicants must be 17 years or older with a High School diploma or GED. Participants must be a shareholder or descendant of Chugach Alaska Corporation.
Higher Education Scholarship deadlines are June 30th for the fall semester and December 31st for the spring semester.

Our vision is to revitalize the traditional Chugach Native culture and language. The goal is to make Sugpiaq/ Eyak history and heritage a part of the regular school curriculum with support and direction from our Elders’ traditional ecological knowledge (TEK).
