We will be discussing “Symbols found in Chugach Artwork: Shamanistic symbolism, community design, and worldview” with the Native Village of Eyak as they visit the Berlin Ethnological Museum!

Cama’i! Chugachmiut Heritage Archive’s “Open Archive” Zoom session have started up again! This fall, we will be partnering with the Berlin Ethnological Museum to view Chugach regional items housed there and discuss various cultural topics. On Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 9-10 am, we will be discussing “Subsistence: Men’s tools, Women’s tools, seasonal subsistence, and traditional beliefs.”  You are invited to a Zoom meeting.
