Early Closure (Holiday)

Chugachmiut will be closing early at 3:30 p.m. on May 27, 2022, and will remain closed on May 30, 2022, in observance of Memorial Day.

Chugachmiut will be closing early at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021, and will remain closed on Monday, September 6, 2021, in observance of Labor Day.

We will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

Our vision is to revitalize the traditional Chugach Native culture and language. The goal is to make Sugpiaq/ Eyak history and heritage a part of the regular school curriculum with support and direction from our Elders’ traditional ecological knowledge (TEK).
