Working with communities and tribal councils to plan sustainable economic development for the region. The focus is currently on natural resources strategic plans, sustainability of utilizing alternative fuels in the communities, developing tribal construction subsidiaries, and exploring the possibility of establishing a tribal telecommunications business for the region.
Heritage Preservation
Our vision is to revitalize the traditional Chugach Native culture and language. The goal is to make Sugpiaq/ Eyak history and heritage a part of the regular school curriculum with support and direction from our Elders’ traditional ecological knowledge (TEK).
